AC voltage for binary inputs

If you wish to use AC voltage for the binary inputs, the following has to be considered:

1) Check the rated voltage of the binary input card. The EuroProt+ "Hardware Description" contains this information. The indicated value is valid for AC and DC voltages as well.

2) By using AC voltage, the sinus wave may cause disturbances in the analogue/digital signal conversion. In order to avoid any malfunction of the logical input, a falling edge delay of 16ms shall be set in the EuroCAP configuration tool as shown in the attachment.
