PS module LED is blinking

If the PS module LED is blinking and the device does not power up, there might be an internal short circuit in the protection device. The PS module LED flashing suggests a short circuit in the 12VDC internal power supply circuit. This circuit is fed by the PS module. The 12VDC is distributed internally over the backplane module. If we have ruled out PS module failure (replacement of PS module did not help), we have to check the rest of the 12VDC circuit step by step in order to find the root cause.
